@Prieure de Sionhas been nothing but honest, well mannered, and a serious contributor here. I see nothing but honesty and passion from him. He can sell what he wants, and I can buy what I want, I see no issue.

Amazing, been looking myself at grabbing a Napoleon bronze medal, any suggestions on where to acquire some 40mm-ish ones at reasonable prices? I'm totally new to this, but Napoleon interests me. I enjoy looking at the ones you post. -

All great, BUT.. the Gordian III from Antioch is a stunner, the realism and expression are unreal. -
Fakes- what's the reporting etiquette when you spot them here (or elsewhere)?
AETHER replied to Deinomenid's topic in General
You should absolutely message the poster of your concern and let them decide to make it public if its a coin they own. If its an auction house, you should point it that there is a level of concern without going into to much detail that may benefit the crooks. -

Beautiful piece, both of them. -
Did the empresses have any authority over the designing/minting of coins?
AETHER replied to JayAg47's topic in Roman Empire
The first thing I thought off was Commodus, and his lion dress coinage, I have doubts that anyone but him approved/requested(?) this 😛 It probably also depended on how pushy the reign was of an emperor and how hard he demanded being involved in the design I suppose. -
congrats @expat! very cool indeed
