  12. You should absolutely message the poster of your concern and let them decide to make it public if its a coin they own. If its an auction house, you should point it that there is a level of concern without going into to much detail that may benefit the crooks.

  15. The first thing I thought off was Commodus, and his lion dress coinage, I have doubts that anyone but him approved/requested(?) this 😛 It probably also depended on how pushy the reign was of an emperor and how hard he demanded being involved in the design I suppose.
