  1. My latest, yet to arrive.. JULIUS CAESAR AR silver denarius. North Africa, 47-46 BC. No legend, diademed head of Venus right. Reverse - Aeneas carrying Palladium, and his father Anchises on his shoulder. RCV 1402. 17mm, 3.5g.
  2. beautiful coins, hard to say for two reasons for me, 1. the deposits , 2. 2nd coin is photographed at a small off angle (atleast the obverse) changing the perspective abit.
  3. Looking at the date of when this thread opened, it would be a Alexander life time hemidrachm from Arados which I haven't taken pics of yet and the dealers photos suck... I would welcome 50k because a handful of these smaller then drachm coins would be fun to hold by the hand full
  4. The ref for the Augustus type is RIC I 230 https://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.1(2).aug.230 It could very well be a Tiberius you got, but its hard to make out the legends in the photo, however the way I identified mine for certain aside from the portrait is most of them had "Ceasar" directly to the left field for the Augustus type.. Like so..
  5. Very nice dude. I like this type. I recently bought one like this because the LCS told me it was Tiberius, after some research and comparisons, it turned out to be the Augustus type, still a nice coin but would have been my first Tiberius! Its ok tho, I since got two!
