  1. I am kinda an expert on tortes. My favs are raspberry/ gooseberry/ sour cherry versions.🥰 The Rottie loves strawberries too! She is more into fruits/ vegetables. I do my place last job of the week/ Sunday evenings.
  2. I have been doing the same thing all my life/ cutting grass/ weeding flowerbeds/ trimming hedges/ nukeing lawns for weeds/ crabgrass/ cinchbugs/ grubs/ blowing leaves......basically dawn to dusk/ 7 days a wk. 8 months/ have Winter off. Pretty well always thinking about coins an food/ my only addiction. My Rottie Strawberry torte I made/ can polish off whole thing in one sitting! My backyard
  3. I have gotten nice material from Numisma auctions/ Lisbon (8 times in past 6 years. All the coins were sent discreet via reg. letter/ all arrived within 7-9 days at my house. Very nice to deal with. John
  4. Thanks so much/ gals/ guys🥰 Sorry for late response just got home from work! That coin was bugging me for past two months. I went to bed/ could not get it off my mind/ so I got up went down to my basement/ turned on the computer and hit the buy button! Then I went back to bed/ sleep like a baby. Best thing I do not have to pay a cent for it. A nice collector from Spain has decided to purchase my entire butterfly collection (what is still in basement) over ten year plan/ buying 3K euros worth each month. That way I can get some better coins. According too Calicó the Vespasian aureus is C ="common".
  5. I would think that most of the FDC/ MS ones have never been cleaned/ polished/ brushed. Most were probably collected/ put in safe storage back in the era they were struck. Shipwreck coins are professionally conserved like the SS-Central America hoard of 1857-S Double Eagles/ Here are two exs.... 1/ From Luz shipwreck (Colonial Chile AV 8 Escudos 1751-So Santiago Mint/ Fernando VI 1746-59 2/ Aureus ND (305AD) Ticinum Mint Constantius I Chlorus 305-6AD

  7. My photos did not make it/ try again😉
  8. Well 13% to be precise. But/ there are ways to avoid that, by sending it discreetly.😇 I have a fellow in Spain who decided to purchase my entire bug collection over 10 years span. He agreed to buy 3K euros each month/ he then pays for my coin auction wins and I get coin shipped via Spain to me. The Beijing museum also bought a wack of my stuff. Probably should have never gotten into butterflies/ used all that $$$ to have bought coins. Many beautifull things to get/ this is still my number one goal.....sound of that 427 is awesome.
  9. I am not great at it/ these turned out not too bad though....
  10. Sincona auction/ also states that US bidders cannot bid on their Iranian (Kian Collection) due too import restrictions. Luckily I can bid on them😉 less competition.
  11. Glad that I live in Canada. No restrictions here😉 we can collect to our hearts content.
  12. Thats amazing, the Hamsa Bird still going strong 400 years later. Thanks for sharing!
