  8. Or just let sculptures and coins do the talking?
  9. Lysimachos Tetradrachm No clue on what year or control mark or mint, but might be a Müller 37 ? Does that look like a top half of a lion to the left of Athena?

  11. Good on you! Long live Finn
  12. Nice grab! Amazing price. I just picked up this victory type, it's on the way...
  13. 400bc-ish -> 200ad-ish is my main interest, Greek and Roman, but I had some others outside of this.
  14. I have done that with Alexander III AE's, simply because one was an upgrade in style or condition. I have since purged them and any others. This is an expensive hobby and can't afford dupes!
  15. 🙂 I get to post my newest purchase! Early Tiberius AE As. Rome mint. 15-16 AD. Weight: 9.45 g Diameter: 32.50 mm Obverse; TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VII, bare head left. Reverse; PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POTEST XVII, Livia seated right, between large S C. Ref; RIC 34. Next; Same theme (Left facing obverse)
  16. The tribute penny was most likely an Augustus denarius anyway, those were more likely to have established circulation in the region rather then the brand new Tiberius ones.
  17. Thank you, they are fascinating but also overwhelming for a newbie. I wish your friend the best, sorry to hear.
  18. Happy B-Day you tyrant! Tiberius has been on my want list, so I picked up this bad shape one but I love the way it looks. Early Tiberius AE As. Rome mint. 15-16 AD. Weight: 9.45 g Diameter: 32.50 mm Obverse; TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VII, bare head left. Reverse; PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POTEST XVII, Livia seated right, between large S C. Ref; RIC 34.
  19. My favorite coin is my avatar coin; Lifetime Alexander III AE (unknown mint) Price reference 310 Obverse; Head of beardless Heracles right wearing lion skin headdress Reverse; Legend: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Type: Quiver on bow and club Symbol (Above): Π While there is not much special about this coin, I really like the style, which I like to think it may be Pella mint, and I really like the green patina.
