  7. I could tell it was Crispina, within a few seconds of viewing the coin.😐
  8. I would still buy stamps, even as late as 2019. It just isn't a serious hobby as coins and some other hobbies, of mine. We had a stamp collecting club, back in jr. high school And this was back in 1992-93, it was about 12 of us and a math teacher ran the club. It was fun. My stamps consisted of those grab bag mail orders, from back in the day.
  9. I enjoyed stamps, as I was growing up, but they fell by the wayside, as I became an adult. I still appreciate the history and the art on them. This item, itself is pretty cool, just for the history.
  10. It might be, couldn't find any others in higher quality, for a closer look.
  11. Saw these recently posted on a celebrity news site. Actress Priyanka Chopra, is wearing a necklace with an ancient coin. From these high quality images, it looks like a real Caligula AS. Some of the green on the coin itself looks neon, so bronze disease too.😳
  12. Happens here in California, all the time. Wouldn't be California if we didn't have orange skies, smoke/ash everywhere, during the fire season.
  13. These auctions houses could get away with murder and still, people will buy from them.😑
  14. There should be a sub-forum dedicated to all the drama and headaches these international auction houses seem to have, it would be the most active section.😐 I'm glad I don't bother with them.😃
  15. If I notice that any are starting to tone, I take some comet and a Brillo pad on them, to bring back the shine, again.😃
  16. I didn't bother this go around. Didn't see anything that jumped out for me.

  21. Very handsome coin! You don't see that one, too often.
  22. That coin looks much better. The majority of this type is rough and usually has issues. Yours is a bit better than most.
