I have many Artemis and Diana coins, but this is my favorite. Is there anything cooler than Artemis doing a drive by shooting in a stag biga?

6 hours, so here's a coin I bought recently. I really liked the blue patina on it, and it was a fair price for a common coin.

HADRIANRIC79.png.3b917316f312a0020f1730b8d37a5e61.png

Imperator Caesar Traianus Hadrianus Augustus
Denarius of the Roman Imperial Period 117 AD; Material: Silver; Diameter: 19mm; Weight: 3.45g; Mint: Rome; Reference: RIC II, Part 3 (second edition) Hadrian 79; Provenance: Ex Roma Numismatic London

Obverse: Bust of Hadrian, laureate, bare chest, traces of drapery on far shoulder usually visible, right. The Inscription reads: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG for Imperator Caesar Traianus Hadrianus Augustus; Reverse: Concordia seated left on throne, holding patera and resting on figure of Spes; cornucopia under throne. The Inscription reads: P M TR P COS DES II CONCORD for Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Designatus Secundum, Concordia (High priest, holder of tribunician power, consul elect for the second time, Harmony).

Phew... fine style, is also somewhat subjective to a certain extent. For me, here is the portrait of Hadrian - from my point of view, it shows fine style. It is not the typical bust portrait - it is very lively and natural.

Next: same theme please.

Oh - forget scroll to the next side.
Please ignore my posting here 😉 .. I am looking for a Tremissis.
