I told a fellow cash collector in passing that I was getting settled in a new city after a move and he quickly asked for my address and sent a nice housewarming letter with it.

That Renia was on my short list but I didn't bid since I was not comfortable with its weight (at 2,80 for such an early RR denarius I thought it was way too low) and felt it might be a fourree. I asked Marie Brillant at CGB about that, to which she she answered being confident it is not a fourree. Can you tell us what your conclusion is when you have it in hand ?

Whatever it is it's a nice coin

This was issued during the nearly decade long civil war waged by Wu Sangui and his followers, including the movement's later lead, Wu Sangui's grandson. It was eventually crushed out by the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty after the remnants fled Mainland China for Taiwan where the Qing followed and toppled the Kingdom of Tungning. It's a messy time all around! This coin was made by Wu Sangui, one of the definitive losers of the situation.

@Qcumbor and other: here is the video for the coin: https://youtu.be/0Ds6IBnWhwM

At a glance, I did not see any signs (in the notches, for example) of a fourree.
