Austria, Archdiocese of Salzburg. Eberhard II of Regensberg, AD 1200-1246. AR Pfennig (19mm, 1.13g, 1h). Friesach mint. Vs: Half-length bust of Bishop with crozier in the right and book in the left. Rs: Two bishop heads and two stars arranged in a cross. Circles and dots in corners. Ref: CNA Ca 13.

Fish. You need to squint to see it but fish!

Sicily, Leontini, Tetradrachm, c. 430, laureate head of Apollo right, ivy branch behind, rev. lion’s head right,  three barley grains and one fish, 17.33g (Boehringer 13.62; SNG ANS 254, same dies; Rizzo pl. 24, 11, same dies).

Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, right. B behind bust.

REV: FEL TEMP RE – PARATIO

Soldier, helmeted, draped and cuirassed advancing left and spearing fallen horseman with right hand and wearing shield on left arm. Shield on ground to right of horseman wearing pointed cap, falling forward clutching horse’s neck.

Gamma in left field, R wreath Z in exergue.

22mm, 5.21g

Thrace, Pautalia, AD 161-175.
Obv: ΦΑVCΤΕΙ-ΝΑ CΕΒΑCΤΗ, draped bust of Faustina II, right; double band of pearls around head.
Rev: ΟVΛΠΙΑC ΠΑ-VΤΑΛΙΑC, veiled Demeter seated left, holding corn (grain) and long torch.
