I'd consider this a good hair portrait! Agrippina Sr. (d. AD 33) AE Sestertius (36mm, 26.92 g). Rome mint. AD 50-54, struck under Claudius. AGRIPPINA M F GERM-ANICI CAESARIS, draped bust right / TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR P IMP P P around S×C. RIC I 102. Ex Roma Numismatics E-Sale 81 (25 February 2021), lot 1059.

The same could be said for all the coins you shared, especially that exceptional tetradrachm of a young Caracalla!!

I don't really collect provincials...there are only a few types of provincials I am looking for as complements to my imperial coins. I just received this guy in the mail today. I thought Nero looked particularly menacing on this coin! Nero (AD 54-68) AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.70g). Seleucis and Pieria mint, Antioch mint. Dated RY 10 and year 112 of the Caesarean Era = AD 64. ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ, laureate bust to right, wearing aegis / ΕΤΟΥΣ ΒΙΡ•Ι, eagle standing to right on thunderbolt with wings spread, palm branch to right. McAlee 264A; RPC I 4190 var. (dot below obv. bust); Prieur 90 var. (same). Ex Roma Numismatics E-Sale 97 (26 May 2022), lot 656.

I don't completely dislike the concept of a coin watch, but I dislike the fact that they had to use incredibly rare Constantinian multiples for them......

Nice antoninianii! I do not have an antoninianus of Gordian, but I do have a sestertius of him as Caesar and an aureus. Interestingly, these coins were struck one year apart. There is a clear evolution to a more mature portrait.

Nice additions, Donna. The bearded siliqua of Julian is definitely interesting, as it more closely resembles the portraits typical of his ae issues. The documented hoard provenance is fantastic as well! I had hoped to acquire one of the Valens miliarensia from the Noonans sale (I believe there were four or five), but they all went sky high. 😞 Unfortunately, I do not have siliquae of either Julian or Magnus Maximus, or any coin of them for that matter. Here's my siliqua of Theodosius I.

Here's my only Claudius denarius....it's not quite as impressive as Ides', but a nice coin nonetheless.
