John, You've acquired some wonderful examples of the world's earliest coinage, & these 10 additions compliment that group 🤩! My favorites strictly for aesthetic reasons are #10, the electrum hekte with Apollo-Kernelos & Eagle, # 1, the electrum hemihekte with Bull & Tuna, & #9, the electrum hekte with the head of Dionysus facing left 😍.

Champion League coins, who wouldn't like this...
If I was to choose 3 favorites I would go for  Kyrenaica/ Kyrene; Cyprus/ Salamis; Lesbos/ Mytilene  with my favorite being Salamis. Just asking - is that a man headed goat or a "normal" goat? for me it looks normal and I checked for similar examples, they were described as forepoart of goat / he-goat recumbent/kneeling.

Anyway if you don't like these coins and want to get rid of them (any), I volunteer myself to keep them, no problems on my side, I can send you my address.

Thank you ambr0zie! I went by Roma description (which stated it was a man-headed Goat????) Check out: Roma XXVII/ lot 317. However/ I think they are wrong/ you are right! I my have to make a correction on data label. I looked up on data base/

4 Male goats/ 2 manheaded/goats=normal goats win!

I really like that last one.  The eagle looks a bit like a parrot there.

You know I never noticed that! Now that I looked at it/ it does look like an "African Grey"🙄 Here is reverse of a Transylvanian 1646 A-I AV Dukat/ to me it looked like a "chicken"

Very nice coins of course. If I had to pick three, it would be the Kyrene obol, Salamis 1/10 stater and the trite from Ionia with the interesting reverse inscriptions.

Thanks for nice comment! That Kyrene Obol caught my eye/ when I checked Noble site. Was not cheap though! Others wanted it too!

Congratulations, John! Your list and @AncientJoe are always the most desirable for me to see. Thank you for sharing!

For me the most interesting coin is your No. 7 EL trite, this type was a subject for my studies with cuneiforms. Nos. 2 and 10 are also very beautiful for me.

Thanks so much I_v_a_n!  I am always happy to share my coins with You and wonderfull forum members.

John

I thought I remembered that coin. I live in Australia and always take a close interest in the Noble sales. It's amazing how much cheaper things are when you don't have to convert the currency. The AUD sucks against everything (except the CAD maybe?). I have bought 3 nice coins for my collection from them.
