Benefactor LONGINUS Posted July 14, 2022 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted July 14, 2022 (edited) Not in an art gallery or museum but undisputedly the next best place. Right here in the Numis Forum 🏛️. Every couple of years I create montages of images of my collections and sub collections. This year I was so impressed with @CPK’s “Group Photo“ thread that I decided to use the pile of coins method. My Roman denarii collection has quadrupled in size since 2021 and there have been several additions to my Judaean collection. Feel free to post images from your main collecting focus. Ryro Posted July 14, 2022 · Supporter Share Posted July 14, 2022 Man O man, DR, you would be a wonderful curator at a museum! You have a gift for order. I'll bet your pad is all sorts of fengshui😎 Hopefully everyone that knows me know that I'm a Macedonian shield coin fanatic. Here's a hair of the dog. It's a Pic I took of a coin that I'm trying to research. An unlisted unknown coin in RPC and or other major references. I believe this to be a father and son set right here... though, nobodies ever recorded a coin of the son before: More to come... 10
GregH Posted July 15, 2022 · Member Share Posted July 15, 2022 It's an absolutely stunning collection - with a strong focus on quality. I'm starting to focus more on quality myself - i have most of the Roman rulers. Now i need better coins.

My passion is Kashmir and your thread has given me the drive to take a group photo for the "first time"..About 50% as the rest are at a friend's who's in the process of measuring and weighing, my scales are broken.... 15 hours ago, LONGINUS said: Feel free to post images from your main collecting focus. Here you go.... Fascinating coins, @Spaniard! The symbols and devices are intriguing. I don’t own any but I frequently check them out when I’m shopping on VCoins. The dealer from whom I purchase Indo-Scythian coins has quite a few of them. 2
Qcumbor Posted July 15, 2022 · Supporter Share Posted July 15, 2022 You never disappoint DR, this is a fabulous way of displaying coins. Thanks for sharing The closest I can show you are virtual trays (I've never made an attempt at a "hoard picture") : below are my series of Plautilla's denarii (with a drachm as a bonus) and Trajan Decius' Divi series Q 4 1 1

Benefactor DonnaML Posted July 15, 2022 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted July 15, 2022 A truly amazing presentation, @LONGINUS! I wish had your skills. Never mind @Qcumbor!'s ability to create virtual trays. It must be magic, but whatever it is I couldn't do it! 2
