Al Kowsky Posted December 8, 2023 · Member Share Posted December 8, 2023 D. Ray, You've got some beauties in this group too 🤩! As you know I've got a soft spot for the coins of Roman-Syria, & Roman Judaea. The victory coins struck under Domitian are especially impressive 😍.
Benefactor kirispupis Posted December 8, 2023 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted December 8, 2023 Again, wonderful job at presentation. The Caesaeria Maritima under Domitian struck me. This year I purchased a coin that for some time I thought was an incredibly rare coin from Straton's Tower, which was the earlier name for Caesaeria Maritima. Unfortunately, further research proved that I was wrong and it instead came from Seleukeia ad Kalykadnum. So, it's nice to see several coins that are really from there. 🙂
