In Italy there are many collectors also with very important collections. Research in Italy has had a great development in the last 30 years and, in addition to the publication of COI the Coinage of Ostrogothic Italy by Metlich, a large number of specialist scientific books and articles have been published, in addition to reports of archaeological excavations, the deeds of conferences, catalogs of thematic exhibitions, notes from the superintendencies etc. Not to mention the studies of Z. Rand Posted April 13 · Supporter Share Posted April 13 Italian is fine with all the technologies we have. Finding those publications was not easy, though. I remember 'hunting' them in auctions, like a couple shown below. It was hard to find them, and with auction fees/postage, the cost of an article was like that of a book.
