Clean off the dirt, but don't remove the encrustations and patina (the hard green stuff or hard brown stuff), and share photos of the result on this thread. Then, see what people say, regarding whether to remove the encrustations. Then, if you decide to remove the encrustations, then remove the encrustations, but don't remove the patina, and share photos of the result on this thread.
