Ref: ANS MN 28 (1983), 104, 16 (Obv. Die 22 which in Morkholm's die study is shown to have been in use across two officinae and over about 8 years between 58 to 50 BC during which time there were two years where no coins appear to have been issued.  Not surprisingly this is not a common coin.)

Gallienus, AD 253-268. AR Antoninianus (22mm, 2.97g, 6h). Joint Reign. Colonia Agrippinensium (Cologne) mint, 1st emission. Struck circa 257-258 AD. Obv: GALLIENVS•P•F•AVG: Radiate and cuirassed bust of emperor right with slight beard. Rev: VIRTVS-AVGG; Emperor (as Mars) in military garb standing right, holding spear and military standard. Ref: RIC V 56 (Lugdunum); RSC 1274a (Lugdunum); Cunetio 730: MIR 36, 882I. Good Very Fine, slightly irregular flan. Said to be from a British hoard of mid-3rd century Antoniniani (all of good silver). Ex Forvm Coin Auctions.
