@expat, I was not able to visit that part of Spain, but I did stay in Barcelona this July. Our hotel, Catalonia Magdelenes, offered up quite a surprise. During excavation of the site, the remains of a Roman aqueduct were unearthed! The hotel preserved the site, installing a plexiglass floor and case in the lobby so visitors can view the discovery. We absolutely loved our visit to Spain!

Agree. Not coin related but they lost not 1, but 2, original state Supreme Court disciplinary files. Shipped 2 months apart, never to be seen again.

This Caesar denarius (46-45 BC) was published by David Sear in The History and Coinage of the Roman Imperators 49-27 BC (CRI 58) and in Roman Coins and Their Values, Vol. 1 This Caesar denarius (44 BC) was published in Alfoldi’s Schweizer Munzblatter, February 1969 and in Corpus Nummorum Romanoram, Volume 1

I only collect Imperatorial coins, so my earliest and latest Victory reverses aren’t very far apart. Earliest- Cato Uticensis, 47-46 BC Latest - Octavian, 32-27 BC- 29 replies
