    Yeah, seems like the old guard is very jealous of “new blood” success- kinda sad, that there is still jealousy out there…a ton of respect for newcomers…but in no way i am endorsing fraud…

    Yeah, general consensus: it’s better to get common coin in better condition than “rare” coin in poor condition

    You are talking 10-20% of the population of collectors and I am sure authorities care less about coins sub $50,000… if you own Dekadrachms, then it might be applicable, otherwise- sleep 🛌 tight

    I am sure coins are authentic and I personally care less about provenances… most of the collectors care less about provenances - a lot of it is hype and marketing by the “interested” parties, just like diamonds industry created a myth and a need to have engagement rings or Chiquita 🍌 created a myth of - bananas are great and should be a part of American diet, same with farmers and “got milk campaign”…all pure marketing… so don’t worry about the provenance. As long as coins are authentic and ALL surface issues are disclosed- i am good!

    Disagree, 99% of coins have no provenances and we are doing ok

    The coin was not great, I personally wouldn’t pay $350 + fees its $200 all in coin in my opinion, given surface issues

    Its a mix, but quite a few RR and Greek starting prices were a bit ridiculous, so hence the list is down to 7, where historically it would be 14-20… new styles are just ok this time around in terms of quality… most RR are overprices…and starting prices are ridiculous

    I personally only saw 4 Greeks and 3 Romans that interest me, kind of surprised- was definitely expecting more
