Ryro Posted July 2, 2022 · Supporter Share Posted July 2, 2022 Barbarous imitation... possibly of Arcadius (inventory of the arcade). But wait for other folks who's wheelhouse this is in. Here's some of my barbarian coinage:
NathanF Posted July 3, 2022 · Member Author Share Posted July 3, 2022 Not being familiar with this type of coinage, it seems to me that my coin does not seem to have the radiate bust typical of the barbarous types from this period. Does that mean it is potentially something else or is the radiate bust not always present?

NathanF Posted July 3, 2022 · Member Author Share Posted July 3, 2022 Is there a reference to look at online to figure out the type? I've looked at Wildwinds and a few others but haven't been able to match the visible legends and type.

justus Posted August 18, 2022 · Member Share Posted August 18, 2022 Most of these irregular coinage are imitations of Tetricus I/II with Pax at the reverse. [...]CVS PF [AVG]!
