  1. Thanks, @ambr0zie! I believe you are right, the lack of legends makes it difficult to identify but I thought the reverse looked distinctive enough to figure out.
  2. Hi all, From the portrait on this coin, I'm pretty certain it is a Marcus Aurelius provincial but beyond that, I am stumped and have had no luck on RPC. Any help would be much appreciated! 5.8g 18mm
  3. My fourth Caligula Provincial arrived today! This one particularly stood out to me due to the really neat Pegasus reverse and its mintage in Corinth, my first provincial from the city! Feel free to post any relevant coins below. Caligula. 37-41 AD. CORINTHIA, Corinth. Æ (21mm, 6.06 gm, 10h). P. Vipsanius Agrippa, duovir. Obv: C CAESAR AVGVS, bare head right. Rev: P VIPSANIO AGRIPPA II VIR, Pegasus flying right. RPC I 1172
  4. Wanted to give this a friendly bump as I'm still struggling to identify it! Any help and direction (including guesses) is appreciated.
  5. Great pickups, my favourite is that young portrait of Marcus Aurelius!
  6. Is there a reference to look at online to figure out the type? I've looked at Wildwinds and a few others but haven't been able to match the visible legends and type.
  7. Not being familiar with this type of coinage, it seems to me that my coin does not seem to have the radiate bust typical of the barbarous types from this period. Does that mean it is potentially something else or is the radiate bust not always present?
  8. Hi all, I’m stumped trying to identify this late Roman coin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Nice pickups! I quickly drop off in Roman collecting post-Commodus but the Siliqua are one of the few later Roman coins I have and always try to pickup where I can.
  10. A few I got a while back… First is Titus and Domitian and the other is Tiberius and Livia with Divus Augustus on the reverse
