Benefactor LONGINUS Posted March 29 · Benefactor Benefactor Posted March 29 (edited) I always enjoy posting these during Easter week… …as it gives me the opportunity to share and refresh the presentation of my favorite group of Judaean coins. Over the years, my Biblical coin collection has expanded and improved in quality. I’m always on the hunt for superior pieces, and this past year, I’ve managed to enhance several coins within this series. At the heart of the grouping, cataloged by David Hendin’s numbering system, lies this particular sub-collection. Most of these coins were struck at the Jerusalem mint, except for those of Herod Antipas. Notably, coins with Hendin numbers 6234, 6235, 6236, and 6243 were produced at the Tiberius mint in Galilee. This year I chose to go with a simpler layout and a bit more detail in the coin descriptions rather than simply referencing the Hendin numbers. Please feel free to post any of your favorite sub-collection coins. Have a very good Good Friday ! Edited March 30 by LONGINUS 23 3 8 Quote
Roman Collector Posted March 30 · Patron Posted March 30 That's a wonderful collection, @LONGINUS! The coins represented in this collection are typically found in low grade, or off-center, and with unclear legends and devices. You have an eye for quality and all of the specimens are exceptionally well-preserved for their type. 3 1 1 Quote
