shanxi Posted August 27, 2023 · Supporter Share Posted August 27, 2023 (edited) EDIT: Currently RPC X is offline again EDIT 2 (28. Oct 2023): Now again and this time officially online: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/news/rpc10 In ForumAncientCoins, Mark Fox pointed out that RPC X (From Valerian to Diocletian (AD 253–297)) is now online. The numbers are still missing but the coins are already there. So the search for new "Plate coins" or "listed on RPC coins" can begin. ☺️ Until now I only looked for Gallienus and already found four listed coins. I hope to find more. now: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coin/412935 now: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coin/285280 https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coin/284283 I had classified this one with Gallienus, but RPC now classifies it earlier. https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/7.1/285A Post your new "Plate coins" or "listed on RPC coins" or anything relevant Edited October 28, 2023 by shanxi 10 1 1
Al Kowsky Posted August 27, 2023 · Member Share Posted August 27, 2023 Congrats on discovering your coins in RPC ☺️. I'll have to search through my files again; the coin pictured below is the only one that comes to mind 🤔. 3

Al Kowsky Posted August 27, 2023 · Member Share Posted August 27, 2023 (edited) shanxi, many thanks for the RPC X info ☺️. I did a search & found two of my coins illustrated in RPC X, pictured below 😮! I bought this coin slabbed from a Heritage auction & removed it from the slab. The photos in RPC X were off color & taken from CNG photos from CNG 64, lot 630, September 24, 2003. My photos show accurate color 😉. Marcus Posted August 28, 2023 · Supporter Share Posted August 28, 2023 It seems that the coins are offline again, so it might have been a glitch before RPC X goes online officially. I also couldn't send feedback to a coin while they were online due to an error message.

Yes, my direct links no longer work either. At least we now know that the release is probably imminent. And I hope they don't throw my coins out by then.
