    Sorry to read. We were very proactive, but ended up getting it about a year and a half ago. First time in the history of men and women that she was more sick than I was. Just rest and take it easy. We'll all be here eagerly awaiting your sharing the new coins in good health.

  4. What a bummer. Sorry to read. Thanks so much for sharing the resources. I'm trying to see if mine is on there now. Here's mine, picked up from Savoca a bit ago that I believe to be crystallized (hopefully this means it's legit): Macedonia, Neapolis, Hemidrachm, 424-350 BC (14 mm, 1,80 gr) Obverse: facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue Reverse: head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head and with a bun at the back, around Ν-Ε / Ο-Π. Purchased from Savoca June 2021

  7. Hey hey, excellent new coin! I do love the gorgoneion boss type. Here are just of few of the massive variety, not including any of the Seleucid Gorgons. I'll start with a double strike and end with a rarity minted at the Inn Of Pancakes *they weren't international back then:

Pretty funny how they made a momma bird getting ready to regurgitate food into its baby's mouth look like a rocking party😄 Best I can offer is a sitting Ceres of Sabina: SABINA Dupondius, 136 CE Mint: Rome 26.3 mm, 10,2 g. Obverse legend : SABINA AVGVSTA - HADRIANI AVG PP, Obverse: Diadémé bust and drape of Sabina on the right, hair raised, artistically capped. Reverse: Veiled and draped Ceres, seated left on a basket, holding ears of corn in right hand and torch in left hand

One of my favorite gods not in the 12 on Olympus has got to be Egyptian, old kingdom period, Bes: God of sexuality, humor, fertility and war, this guy was most known as protector God of pregnant woman and children along his loving wife Beset. I was thrilled to find 3 of this very rare type for sale over the weekend. And am very pleased to say that I walked away with this, the 2nd best of the 3, new (slightly used) teeny tiny coin of such a BIG man/God. I have found only 1 other on AC search. SAMARIA Circa 375-333 BC. AR Hemiobol (0.33 Gr. 6mm.) Head of Bes facing within incuse square punch Rev. Phoenician galley left, mast with partially furled sails. Meshorer & Qedar 152. Very Rare. Purchased from N&N London Feb 2024 Some of my other coins featuring this wild man/imal god CILICIA. Uncertain. Circa 400-350 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.58 g, 1 h). Female head facing, turned slightly to left, wearing earrings, necklace and flowing hair (Arethusa?). Rev. Facing head of Bes. Göktürk 44. SNG Levante 233. SNG France 486. Anv.: Laureate head of Vejovis right, mongram (of ROMA?), below chin, thunderbolt below head. MN. FONTEI. C.F. (MN y NTE interlace), behind. Rev.: Infant winged Genius seated on goat right, caps of the Dioscuri above, thyrsus below, all within laurel-wreath. Ag. 3,68 g. Centered struck. Almost VF. Purchased from Tauler & Fau 4/2021 The moneyer is perhaps the brother of the moneyer M. Fonteius (see Crawford 347) and not inconceivably the tribune featured on the reverse of Crawford 429/1 (see the coin of P. Fonteius P.f. Capito below).The reverse recalls that the god Jupiter was suckled by the she-goat Amaltheia on Mt. Ida during his infancy, and depicts a statue that was within the Temple of Vejovis in Rome Next: Dioscuri caps
