Heliodromus Posted May 16 · Member Share Posted May 16 I just received the top coin yesterday - a rare Mars variant issued from Ticinum in 312-313 AD celebrating Constantine's victory over Maxentius. This is RIC VI Ticinum 121, and below that is the regular RIC 124 for comparison. This victory type was also issued for Licinius and Maximinus (unlisted), and exists in two reverse variants, mine with downward pointing spear in front of the shield and another with upward pointing spear behind the shield. My coin seems to be a reverse die link to this Maximinus specimen from the Saint-Roch (Antibes, France) hoard found in 1970. https://www.persee.fr/doc/nauti_0154-1854_1981_num_3_1_1105 9
