David Atherton Posted May 7 · Member Share Posted May 7 (edited) I accidentally purchased two identical Vespasian dupondius varieties from Lugdunum featuring Fortuna on the reverse. Both are RIC 1187, COS IIII, 72 AD. The first one with the green patina was on its way to me when the second example was won on eBay. I didn't keep very good track of which coins I was purchasing! Anyone wish to share similar (happy) accidents? Edited May 7 by David Atherton
lordmarcovan Posted May 11 · Member Share Posted May 11 Nice. The Tears for Fears song was fun, and brought back memories of younger days.
Nerosmyfavorite68 Posted May 11 · Member Share Posted May 11 The first one is superior, in my opinion. It's nice to have two, however.
