Camulodunum and Clausentum are the same mint - no-one knows where the 'C' mint is but more likely the latter. Unless you accept Celtic coins, in which case Camulodunum is different 😉

You might also need (depending on what counts as the Roman Empire):

Carnuntum
Laodicea ad Mare
Moguntiacum/Mainz
Rouen
Samosata
Tarragona/Tarraco
Tripolis
Viminacium

and a few more on Ocre.

In another forum there is a "mint game" that has been running quite well for some time now.  The goal is to  post a coin from a mint that begins with the last letter of the previous one. There are no restrictions. Mints from all over the world and from any period can be chosen. The game has the advantage that you don't need a list and surprising results also appear.

If I recall, there were more than a thousand Roman mints. In terms of Greek mints I believe there are between 700 and 1000.

I know there were a lot more mints but I have to make a cut off somewhere. With 2 days per mint we would be looking at at over 4 years to complete the thread.

That actually sounds like a better format without time and type restrictions.

You can add Emesa to that group, along with Gaza, Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem), Caesarea Maritima, Damascus, & Tyre.
