The four–tiered pyre on the reverse side of the coin which was large and strong enough to support a four-horse chariot and ceremony participants, must have been an impressive structure to witness. I cannot resist comparing it to a birthday cake. Please feel free to post your Antoninus Pius coins or any coin featuring an image that reminds you of something that it is not.
