mc9 Posted August 20 · Member Share Posted August 20 Can someone help with this coin of Claudius II ? To the left, under Salus' right arm, is a small figure, not a snake. Not found in RIC. Thank you, mc9 6

mc9 Posted August 20 · Member Author Share Posted August 20 @expat and @seth77: Thanks for your answer, now i look in to this closer. Were stands the letter T on the back of Salus for? Under a loup, i see clearly a little figur from a person under the right arm of Salus. Thanks , mc9
expat Posted August 20 · Supporter Share Posted August 20 I think you are seeing the effects of surface damage and wear. There is a scrape behind Apollo which has pushed the surface metal up, looking like a T, but isn´t. Under the arm of Apollo is a branch which has been slightly misshapen due to the wear.
