Broucheion Posted July 9, 2023 · Member Share Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Hi All, I just discovered a book online for free (open access) or as a hard copy you can buy. It’s “Roman Provincial Coinage of Bithynia and Pontus during the Reign of Trajan (98-117 AD)” by Barbara Zając. See https://www.archaeopress.com/Archaeopress/Products/9781803274652 . Enjoy. - Broucheion Edited July 10, 2023 by Broucheion added image 7

Here's a Bithynian coin from the days of Mithidates VI Eupator... Bithynia, Dia, AE (Circa 95-90 or 80-70 BC), struck under Mithradates VI Eupator, 8.5g and 21mmObv: Laureate head of Zeus right.Rev: ΔΙΑΣ., Eagle, with head right and wings spread, standing left on thunderbolt; monogram to left and right.
