The Simpsons Homer Simpson GIF - The Simpsons Homer Simpson Happy GIFs

Friday felicitations, fellow Faustina fanatics! I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead. Last week, we continued our discussion of the collection of Johann Sulzer and illustrated the coins on page 159 of the catalogue to his collection. This week, we're moving on to page 160 and it's straightforward. There are no inaccurately described coins that we must puzzle over. We finish up with the sestertii and move on to the middle bronze denominations with Sulzer 1336 ff. As usual, I will illustrate the coins in Sulzer's collection with specimens from my own. You know how it works. Let's revisit the catalog to Sulzer's collection!

Thanks again for another installment of the Sulzer project - I am really enjoying these.

I think I have both versions of RIC 1146A, veiled, with and without stephane.  Both pretty ugly - my attributions are a bit out of date (which is to say they have not yet been "Roman Collectorized-Beckmannized):

With stephane:

The AETERNITAS types are so elegant that I will be looking for some for myself if possible. They are by far the most beautiful coins from your Sulzer coll. theme.

Thank you for the kind words, @Marsyas Mike! I like your coin, too. The lifetime bronzes are usually of fine style and yours is no exception. I like the VENERI AVGVSTAE reverse type.
