Spaniard Posted December 1, 2022 · Supporter Share Posted December 1, 2022 Nice coin and correctly attributed. The supposed 5 good Emperors are always a fun set to collect in silver, bronze or a mix. Here's my Hadrian... Hadrian (117- 138). Rome, c. 131-138 AD. Silver Denarius. 2,85 g. 17 mm. Obv: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate head right. Benefactor LONGINUS Posted December 1, 2022 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted December 1, 2022 Nice Hadrian, @thenickelguy! When I decided to rebuild my Roman denarii collection I started out with the Five Good Emperors. Acquiring all 5 produces a great feeling of accomplishment. After that I decided to collect the “Five Julias” (Julia Domna, Julia Maesa, Julia Mamaea, Julia Paula & Julia Soaemias. Recent Hadrians and likely my last denarii purchases of 2022. 10
