While on the cusp of ordering a large provincial coin, I happened to look at acsearch and found the same exact coin, same exact pic, same exact description in two semi-recent German auctions. There's several innocent explanations; the dealer was the consignor and it didn't sell, he was the buyer and didn't bother to change anything, etc, but it spooked me and I ordered from another dealer. The coin's not terribly expensive, by the way. I'm guessing the firm is run by a hobbyist/part time dealer.
