I have my eye on a Celti-Iberian coin from the Age of Augustas 27BC-14AD. It doesn't have ACIP (Ancient coins Iberian Peninsular) ref, but it has AB580. Please help a beginner and inform me what the abbreviation AB refers to. Many thanks

ATB,

Aidan.

Thank you. So the coin I am looking at is referenced in this book. I have a friend here who can get it at trade price

For what it's worth, this is the page with AB580 - is this the coin in question?

This reference is known for its sketches rather than photos of the coins 🙂

ATB,

Aidan.

Thanks. I will give that book a miss.
