I have enjoyed them CPK and have kept about 25 of my favorite ancient coins.

Most of them are of silver content and about half are Greek and half Roman. 

I am selling off coins I never even have time to look at again. 

I did search by seller jdmern , when it comes up as jdmern and not Boardwalk Numismatics, you can see various categories.

I bet I have most of those ancients consigned that they are selling

Yes, I have to agree that it can be a bit troubling that my coins don't fall under specific categories for some reason  under sellers items. Where are they? I don't know, but they are found in the correct categories amidst their kind of all eBay items listed everywhere.

The link (n my first post a bit above here) is supplied to me from the seller to show only my list of items. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I have consigned over 800 lots with jdmern also known as Boardwalk Numismatics on eBay for sale. This link will  have at least 100 new lots over the next couple/few months that are all from my collection.
They start at 9 PM EDT on Thursdays. They end 10 days later starting at 9 M EDT Sunday. Sometimes there will be as many as 200 lots up at a time.

Every lot starts at an opening bid of $1.99
There are always quite a few super deals for you when the hammer falls on Sunday nights. People get lucky and some get sniped. It is fun for me to watch as they end.

There are US type coins, silver, exonumia, ancients, and other numismatic treasures to be had. Please check out the link below. As long as there are items showing for sale, they are from my collection. This is my third large liquidation through consignment.

I don't have an eBay account. I have no control over these lots so I encourage you to direct all questions to the seller through eBay. I believe the seller combines shipping cost, but perhaps that would be something you want to be clear on.

Unusually late, first significant snowfall we had last night.  I woke up to this in N. Central Pennsylvania.

Probably another 6 or so storms to go and we'll have color again. It is still snowing  but due to stop soon.

Haven't had much to post lately. Haven't bought any ancients. Maybe I am getting a little picky or maybe  great deals have dwindled a bit in the past year. At any rate, I think I am going to concentrate on silver ancients. Probably Roman denarii of those I don't have any of yet.

I also like the silver Greek coins.

Nothing new here but want to wish all you a Merry Christmas or whatever you celebrate this time of year. I'm still around and check in pretty often. Just not much to post.

I voted for no 1 white/white simply because I tend to focus on the coin by itself. The others draw away my attention,

(and I think it is magical how they seem to float about a quarter inch off the surface.)

A thought came to me as I looked at these super sestertii.

I pondered just how hard the hammer had to swung and how heavy it must have been to displace the flow of metal into such a high relief design. I don't think I would last long on that job.

After thinking about this some more, I am one of an elderly couple now. I sure am glad it wasn't "us" that got $158.00 for a mask like that we pulled out of our attic or a box in the garage. I wouldn't want to be messed up over that for the rest of my life. 

Sure, I think the dealer is a realer loser for what he did in the first place.

I do believe it was dishonest and unfair all the way. But I have to wonder who has the greedy bug more now?  I wonder why the couple want's more than $315,000 and now that isn't enough? Who is sicker than who? This will eat the old people to death. Weird but I hope they come to their senses.

Yes, they got ripped off but $315,000 should make anyone happy. Problem is they now are jealous the dealer is still getting more than they. Money changes everything.

I am glad I won't win that current Billion dollar plus Power Ball lottery that I don't play either. I wouldn't have a real friend in the world if I won that, and I'd probably be terribly unhappy and dead in a year.

There must be something in my little book titled Aesop’s Fables about this.

If this is true, I hope the elderly couple win a substantial percentage of the value of the mask. At least half plus the cost of the legal fees. They probably deserve to have the mask returned to them and only pay that dealer back $158.00. They were deceived.

I think you posted this coin up there in this thread. That's the one that caught my eye and I should respond with a copy I made since I don't know what it actually is.

Lots of neat coins but ambr0zie posted the turtle and crab which would be high on my want list. I don't think they are easy to find and pay for or I'd have one.

The majority of you people on Numis Forums inspire me. I can't even come close to reading all the things people post here. I've been a member here since nearly the very beginning and have learned so much from all of you. On the other hand, there is so much to learn.
