I tried to get the Abafil trays initially. I went on their website and when I went to check out it told me to wait until some gets back to me on shipping costs. A few days later they emailed me the shipping costs, I agreed but their website still wouldn’t let me proceed. I probably emailed them 10 times with no response, so I just gave up. Then I found these lighthouse cases.

Ed Waddell, a dealer in Maryland, USA sell all sizes of Abafil trays and cases -  www.coins.com  ; Also, Alberto Zecchi , at www.albertozecchi.com has beautiful Italian crafted coin cases as well. (he is closed until 6/6. )  both of these people are easy and great to deal with.

  5.  I enjoy collecting ancient coins more for the history than the rarity of a particular coin,(though so many times it seems the "historical" coin I want is too rare to acquire). And all 3 Gordiani were very much a part of 3rd century Roman history, so no one should apologize for collecting them.

several sestertii of Gordian III and an Antoninianus. (Gordian I and II are still on my bucket list).

  6. All so beautiful @DonnaML ! I'm glad you posted a site for antiquities. They go together with coins like peanut butter and jelly.

I hope you post your Roman glass as well, especially that mesmerizing blue-purple one. I don't know how many times I went on the old thread at "the other site" to just stare at it.

I'm especially happy today because I just received this from the CNG 120 auction!
