HA Rauch - no communications after auction. Is this normal ?

I won a coin in HD Rauch's recent auction (e42), and have received zero communications from them since. An invoice did appear on their web site under my account (I had to check for it), which I promptly paid via Wise, towards end of last week.

Is it normal (for HD Rauch) not to send emails to acknowledge bids/wins, availability of invoice, etc? It'd be nice for them to acknowledge payment and provide tracking when they ship, but maybe that's not how they operate ?!

Hm! I never did business with them, but I've dealt with other auction houses that are pretty minimal when it comes to communication. Most, however, will reply if you ask them about the status of your order.

No. The one time I bought from them I received an email with the invoice attached 1 day later.

Some of these European auction houses can take a week or more to reach out about invoices and the like.

The upside with Rauch, if I remember correctly, is that they will ship your lot before payment if you've done business with them before.

I've sent them an e-mail to make sure they at least received my payment.

I have to wonder if they even have my (correct) e-mail address since it doesn't appear on the invoice nor as far as I can see is there any place on their web site that shows the contact/address info associated with your account.
