Sol_Invictus Posted March 14, 2023 · Member Share Posted March 14, 2023 I was excited to recently win a few of the lower end coins from the recent Leu auction. The coins are of a type that is restricted for import by one of the US MOUs, but have a named provenance that places them outside the country they were minted in long before the MOU went into effect. This is my first time winning coins from Leu, and I just wanted to check whether anyone knows if they will automatically produce the necessary statements needed to satisfy US customs, or do I need to specifically request these from them? Benefactor kirispupis Posted March 15, 2023 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted March 15, 2023 Yes. Leu is probably the best in the industry at doing that. They always include documentation for each coin stating that it was outside of the origin country before the MOU went into effect and their reasons for stating so. 2
