i believe it is constantine or constantinius?

What’s the size and weight? That would narrow down the possibilities. It does look like Constantius II. If it’s small 17-16mm, it could be a SPES REIPVBLICAE reverse from the late 350s.

it is 14.5 mm and weighs 2.0 grams

Yeah, yours is cropped a bit closer to the legend so a that size is not too small for the type and weight is what you’d expect. I’m pretty sure it’s a Constantius II SPES REIPVBLICAE… if it was the other option for this coin type (Julian), there would be no diadem.
