  1. Yea, it's decently small. So, maybe not authentic then
  2. Hello, While look through a large lot of random coins I came across this coin. It left me perplexed because one side is stamped as normal while on the reverse side it is mirrored and indented. Any idea what happened here? Sorry if the photos aren't great. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I have a lot of these copper coins (look copper anyways) and I was wondering what is the best way to identify them. I think they are ancient Greek coins, but with no real clues as to the writing on coins or the faces on them. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
  4. Hello, I have this Roman silver coin, I believe a tetradrachm with Philip II. It is about 28 mm tall and 25 mm across and slightly under 2 mm thick and around 11 grams . From what I have seen it is similar to Philip II tetradrachm Antioch syria coin from 247-249 ish AD. Everything appears the same as some of the similar coins, except his face is turned to the left instead of the right. Or similar coins will have a different bust or the eagle facing a different way. I can't find one exactly like this so I was questioning if it is authentic (bought it years ago for like $100 and am now thinking I got duped). I'm pretty new at all this and don't have much experience. Thanks!
  5. Thank you so much! I had 0 clue where to even begin, appreciate the help greatly.
  6. Hello, I have these coins and have 0 clue on what they are. They may be too worn to even identify. The first one is very thin and appears to have a lion on one side and maybe a building or crest on the other? The second coin I have even less of a clue. Not sure even which way is right side up. Maybe VIII on it? Other than that I don't think it can be identified. Are these able to be identified at all or are they too far gone? Thanks!
