Thanks for the replies. Yes I have many of these and I appreciate the ID of these 5 posted. My Dad was a collector of many things but a record keeper he was not. I believe he acquired these coins in Jordan. Finding an ancient coin expert is noted but easier said than done where I live. My local coin shop recommended that I send them to someone and pay 100’s of dollars to have them looked at but I’m a bit unsure of this process. Any recommendations? I have 100’s of various coins, mostly silver and about 20 gold. I’ll post them here one at a time in the future. Here’s the one (actually 2 together) of the initial 6 that I did not post. Thanks in advance for your insights.

Thanks for the info. I thought I did something wrong in the process but it seems straight forward. I have a “bunch” more coins to go through and a place to start would be much appreciated.

Hi All, I’m a new member and not a collector. I inherited some coins collected by my Dad who picked them up in his many travels to the Middle East. I would like some honest advice. Let’s start with these 6. Any help is deeply appreciated. I’m happy to post more pics and any other info.
