    Great acquisitions @Kazuma78

I'm awaiting two coins from the last Leu auction (ex Adrian Lang collection) stuck at the customs as of late. I will post them as soon as they arrive

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see them! I'm hoping for something from NAC, but I'm not holding my breath.

My wife bought this for me for Christmas in 2020. I have wanted this type for 30 years.

There are still a couple of Carthaginian tetradrachm types left that I might be able to afford, then the crazy rarities are left. 🙂

And welcome - it is super nice to have such great collectors like you join.

Thanks! It's always fun to share my coins with people that appreciate and enjoy them as much as I do.

Beautiful coins! I want both. Recently I lost out on one of the, surprisingly rare compared to the silver, bronzes of the type. However, I've a third option, the drachm of Demetrius Poliorketes:

I would like to get this type as a nice drachm or tetradrachm but it's popular so it can be a tough one to win.

Very nice group.  I tend to prefer coins from before and after the Hellenistic period so I have relatively few of interest to big silver collectors and many of mine are low grade.  One I like despite those problems is this Demetrios Poliorketes tetradrachm.  Due to the right end of the prow, it is the thickest silver coin I have. g92187bb3051.thumb.jpg.53727f00b9a296dd4ecf543803e955d3.jpg

The same design comes in a small AE.

Doug, you are right about how amazingly thick that type is. I was surprised by it when I saw a couple at the ANA show last August. The prow is the highest relief I've seen on an ancient coin, besides an Aegina turtle/tortoise stater.

Very nice! That lysimachus and Syracuse tet are amazing!

Is the Owl a transitional right before mass issues? Unusual and interesting reverse!

Thanks! The owl is a transitional issue right before mass emission, but it's hard to tell exactly when it was issued. I liked that it was a little earlier and different than my mass emission example so I decided to give it a new home.

Thanks! That bronze is also quite nice! It seems sometimes difficult to find these well detailed and struck.
