    Acheloios Amenanos, the river god of Katane Sicily, Katane, Tetradrachm, ca. 470-465 BC. AR (g 16,90; mm 27; h 5). Recumbent man-headed bull r.; above, branch; in ex. fish r., Rv. KAT - ANE, Nike advancing l., holding wreath tied with fillet. Rizzo pl. IX, 4; SNG Ashmolean 1702; Randazzo 54.
  2. stunning @kapphnwn !! One of my favorite bronze coin is from Rhegion Bruttium, Rhegium. Bronze circa 351-280, Æ 11.72 g. Lion's mask facing. Rev. PHΓINΩN Laureate head of Apollo r.; behind, leaf. SNG ANS 687.   3. It is interesting to note that only obols of Kroton were produced using the repoussé technique. my incuse coin with the widest flan is from Metapont (32mm)

Head of roaring lion to right, sunburst with five rays on forehead / Two incuse square punches. GRPC Lydia G25; Weidauer 88-89; ATEC Group D, 14-19. 4.71g, 12mm. MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC.
