Phil Anthos Posted December 26, 2024 · Member Posted December 26, 2024 Huh? Okay, there are certain shows that are Christmas traditions for many people, like 'Christmas Carol' and such. So what are yours? Christmas doesn't start for me until I've watched 'The Blue Carbuncle' episode of the old PBS series 'Mystery, this one a Sherlock Holmes Christmas story starring Jeremy Brett (the best Holmes ever). Everything Sherlockian and Dickensian is here, with a string of absolutely precious characters connecting it all. Of course the Alistair Sim 'Christmas Carol' ain't bad either. 😉 So I know you've got one too, what is it? 5 1 Quote

Nerosmyfavorite68 Posted December 26, 2024 · Member Posted December 26, 2024 Jeremy Brett is indeed the best TV Holmes ever (at least, of the ones I've seen). I suppose this year it was when SiriusXM started carrying the Christmas channels, on Nov. 6th. They do maintain the holiday traditional station all year but I wish they'd keep the instrumental one as well. 3 Quote
