Forum Tip: Filtering categories

I had a friend drop me a note asking why we aren't doing "top 10" lists anymore: they weren't seeing them because new years aren't selected automatically in the forum dropdown.

On mobile, if you click "Showing topics from n forums", you can check the appropriate boxes under General. They were missing for me earlier as well so I'm still catching up on responding to everyone's Top 10 lists!

THIS! I had been meaning to reach out to  @Restitutor to point this out. I have been missing out on a bunch of Top 10s. Then when I created mine and it disappeared I found that the button is auto deselecting and a flood of Top 10s showed up in my main page and beyond.

Heard back from Invision as I couldn't find a way to do it myself, and unfortunately it looks like there isn't a way to have new forums auto-selected. In the future I'll make a pinned thread to call out that the new top coins of the year forum has been added. Such a strange feature not to have!

Also, if you don't post your top ten thread in a top ten forum, it will not be automatically archived with other members' top ten threads. I found this out when trying to locate my list from 2023 .... I had mistakenly posted it in the general forum and had a devil of a time finding it!
