Robi Posted December 17, 2024 · Member Author Posted December 17, 2024 Thanks All for your comments! ๐ Time to reveal my motives for purchasing this coin. Well, I was almost fooled that it was a coin of Seleucus I, but I was intrigued by the two visible letters to the left of Athena: *AN*. I checked and it turned out that it is a coin of Antiochus I Soteros, SC 381 with similar iconography (it differs in the legend, the position of the shield and the symbol under the shield. But it is much rarer than the coins of Seleucus (especially the quadruple denomination) - I did not find any auction quotes. So in such In this case, the condition is not important to me (who knows when I will be able to buy another one). Greetings! Robert 3 1 2 Quote
