Opinions on Geta Denarius

I was looking for a nice Geta denarius. What are your opinions on this one.

I would, honestly, wait for a better one. They are usually not that expensive. But it depends on your budget also. The style is nice, the centering is okay too. Just the reverse lacks some details and it could be sharper. Let me say it like this: If YOU like it - buy it.

What would you put for a value for this coin? Asking 65 usd for it.

$65 USD is a good price for that particular coin, but I'm with @Mucius Scaevola If you want one good coin to represent Geta, I'd hold out for a better struck reverse.

If it were a rare coin , I'd say grab it . but it isn't, so I'd wait for one with a little sharper reverse.

I like that the reverse is "NOBILITAS" which is unique to Geta--therefore a really good Geta type to get. I think the price is fine and the early portrait is very nice. If you are going to be a stickler for condition, others have given you advice. If you like that coin (I do) I'd say it is a fine representative of Geta and well worth having.

Fair price for the coin, but you can probably pick up a higher grade for a cheaper price at auction. Search thru https://www.acsearch.info/home.html for pricing comparisons for your type.

It's a decent coin, worth the money. If you like it, go for it!

From what I have found its not a bad price and the obverse has a nice detail to it. I ended up buying it. Its a Vcoins Sphinx purchase.
