bcuda Posted December 12, 2024 · Member Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) I do not know where to begin with this but I was fortunate to have had a very special Secret Saturn for the year 2021 and 2022. My Secret Saturn sent me a high-quality example of an ancient coin both years and did not want to receive a gift in return. I often wondered who had sent me the coins but could not figure out who this person was only that the gift would come from Canada. After reading this year's Saturnalia post I saw one member had mentioned they had received a Saturnalia gift from Terrence Cheesman (aka @kapphnwn) last year and did not want to receive a gift in return and that Terence had passed away shortly afterward. As soon as I read that I knew right away who my secret Saturn was, I instantly had mixed emotions in finding out who my very special Secret Saturn was but also that He had passed away. I never met or talked to Terrence Chessman but read a write up that our member @Ocatarinetabellatchitchix wrote in His topic ( AN INTERVIEW WITH A MEMBER ) I sure wish I could have had the chance to have met Terrence and thank Him personally. So here's to you Terrence if you are looking down at all of the members here in the forum HAPPY SATURNALIA and thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are the coins Terrence gifted me Probus 276-282 AD Silvered Antoninianus Obverse radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right.
