Help needed to Identify this coin please? English? Medieval?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I am seeking help to identify this coin. I believe that it is English, and is probably 1700 (or later). I believe that the obverse shows a (male) crowned head in a circle, (possibly) facing right. I think that (Part of) the legend (may) read ..G DEF IL LON.., (but I may be wrong).

(The reverse may not be aligned correctly.)

Any help (leads) you can give are appreciated.
