It is beyond me how the tester who ruined so many of his coins didn't end up getting executed, but the the one on offer at the Japanese auction doesn't have that hideous test cut.

I remember seeing that, i don't find the eukratides staters too compelling, they're out of my budget and they're in my opinion, of lesser style than i prefer. the staters are not as well executed as some of his tetradrachms

seems like it was done by some authority, given most of them have test cuts

Little late to the party (I just joined yesterday), but I'm so happy to see you and your amazing coins here! I follow you on IG, and your Baktria collection is one of my all-time favorites. I'm still not sure what my focus will be in the future, but whenever I see your coins on my feed, I lean closer and closer to Baktria!

Aesthetically, your Eukratides I Tet takes the top spot for me... man, such a wonderful type and would love to own one someday. But I just had to vote for your super rare Plato Tet! Great provenance and it's a plate coin... congrats!
