The question of metal alloy of Macedonian coins

Posted (edited)

I recently read an article in which data on the alloy of antique coins were indicated. Studies were carried out in the laboratory of coins of Alexander the Great, namely: the mint of Amphipolis and Arados. And so the question arose to the forum participants, did anyone here on the forum do a spectral analysis of Greek antique coins and what were the results? As a rule, we analyze objects visually, no one had a question, what's inside?

For example, the data is given by spectral analysis of one of the coins:

(BnF, MMA)- Н4300    Arados    Тетradrachme    Price (1991, 3332 )   AR(%) - 99.60    Cu -0.10   Pb- 0.21    Au/Ag- 792   Дву
(ppm)-  11
