It's an Alexandrian tetrdrachm, Tyche on reverse.  It's difficult to make out the obverse legend due to the corrosion, but I'll give it  closer look when I've had some coffee :).  Tyche standing is a very common reverse for these mid to late Alexandrian tets.

Maximus, as Caesar. Issued regnal year 4 of Maximinus I, AD 237/8.

The obverse legend is ΓΙΟVΛOVHPMAΞIMOCKAI, which upon expanding the squished-together abbreviations and translating, equals Gaius Julius Verus Maximus Caesar.

The reverse legend is L Δ (regnal year 4).
